Women-only carriages

Possible problems with having women-only Tube carriages include:
1. Men would think that women using these carriages don't trust them. For a gentleman (like me) that's upsetting.
2. Lone women who choose not to use the designated carriages may be targeted by predatory men, who think the women in some way are consenting to an unwanted approach.

On the whole though, I think that the limited use of such carriages (say, after 10pm) would be a good idea. Women should not have to fear a Tube journey, and the late evening is when the majority of problems arise.

Jeremy Corbyn is on record as supporting female-only train carriages to protect women from dangerous men on trains.

Using that same logic, I look forward to the day he declares his support for male-only motorways.
